Ariana Hones
Ariana Hones is a community organizer and spiritual care practitioner. Drawn towards practices of collective belonging and compassionate action, Ariana received her Master of Divinity from Yale University and a certificate from the Institute of Sacred Music, where she focused on the intersection of spiritual care, creative practice, and environmental healing.
As an eco-chaplain, Ariana curates spaces of attunement, communion, and reconnection with the earth. She provides spiritual accompaniment through practices of reflection and action that center collective healing. Her work includes facilitating community practice workshops for spiritual leaders and environmental activists, organizational consulting services, and one on one care for people seeking to create deeper connection between their spirituality and the climate.
She completed her first unit of Clinical Pastoral Education as a hospital chaplain at St. Luke's Medical Center in 2024 and practiced multi-faith chaplaincy at Wesleyan University from 2024 to 2025.
In this time and place of increasing environmental collapse, Ariana offers space to explore existential questions, examine climate emotions, and cultivate rituals practices that build community engagement and resilience.
